Pedalers Corner

The fine print

Fair play, both ways

The ground rules for using this site — what the AI helpers can and can't tell you, how a request becomes a booked job, and where the shop's responsibility starts and ends.Last updated October 22, 2026

01Using this site

By browsing this site or sending us a request you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site — call the shop instead and we'll sort you out the old-fashioned way.

02Nothing here is a quote or a reservation

Prices, stock, hours and availability change with the season and the shipment. Website wording can't hold a price, reserve a bike or promise a slot. The number that governs your work is the one Doug or Vickey gives you at the counter, and the bike you want is yours when it's paid for and picked up.

Send a repair request and it lands in the shop inbox as a request. We'll confirm the date, the work and the cost with you before anything is touched.

03The AI tools give advice, not a mechanic's call

The Bike Doctor and the Bike Finder are convenience helpers. They work from the words you type, they can be wrong, and they have never seen your bike. Treat what they say as a starting point, not a diagnosis.

If anything touches brakes, steering, wheels, the frame or fork, or an e-bike battery that smells, heats up, swells or smokes — stop riding and bring it in. Nothing on this page replaces a hands-on check in the shop.

04Your messages

Keep what you send us honest and lawful, and don't send someone else's personal information. You keep ownership of what you write; you give us permission to read, store and use it for the plain purpose of answering you and doing the work.

Please don't send abusive, threatening or unlawful content. We may decline to act on a message and remove it if it's harmful.

05Rentals, repairs and restorations

The real terms for a rental, a repair or a restoration are the ones we go over at the shop: what's available, pickup and return times, the condition of the bike, deposits, and responsibility for damage or theft. A form on this website starts the conversation; it doesn't book the bike.

06Ride within your ability

We'll fit your bike properly and tell you the truth about its condition, but we don't control how a bike is ridden. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, wear a helmet, know the local rules of the road, and keep the prairie wind and goatheads in mind out there.

We link out to Google Maps, Facebook and our in-stock inventory listing. Once you click through, their site and their rules apply — we're not responsible for what they do with your visit.

08The site may not be perfect

We try to keep it accurate and running, but pages can be wrong, out of date or briefly down. We don't promise the site will always be available, and we don't promise anything you read here is free of typos.

09No warranties, and the limits

This site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the extent Nebraska law permits, Pedalers Corner isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the site or relying on information on it — including anything an AI helper tells you. Nothing here limits a warranty or legal right you already have as a customer.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by Nebraska law, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Cheyenne County, Nebraska.

11When these terms change

We may update these terms as the shop or the site changes. The date at the top of this page is the latest version; keep using the site and this version applies.

Still unsure? Just ask

Doug and Vickey would rather talk it through than have you squint at legal wording. Call, text or email and a real person at the shop will answer.
